Laird MacMillan is a policy analyst in the Small Business/Self-Employed Division. He currently works on many diverse employment tax programs including railroad employer issues, whistleblower submissions for employment tax reward claims, as well as executive compensation and fringe benefits issues. Laird started with the IRS in 1975 and worked as a tax auditor and revenue agent before joining the policy staff for Employment Tax in 2007. He graduated from Hamline University in Saint Paul, MN in 1974 with a BA in Economics and Political Science.
